Frequently Asked Questions

Who can join Twin Cities Treble?

We are a treble voiced group made up of young adult women identifying singers (cis or trans), and we are open to any auditionee who identifies with this space and feels this space reflects their experience! We were founded in September 2025 and are still getting our feet on the ground, which makes this an exciting time to join and help shape the group’s future. Our members live within reasonable distance of the Twin Cities in order to commit to rehearsals, performances, and gigs.

How do auditions work?

We hold auditions twice a year, in the fall and spring. You will be asked to sing a verse and chorus of a pop song so we can hear your range, blend, and musicality. After auditions, current members vote together, and offers are made based on group needs, voice part balance, and overall fit.

What is the time commitment?

We rehearse once a week, rotating between Wednesday and Sunday to make scheduling easier. The schedule is revisited every audition season to accommodate members’ changing availability. Attendance is expected, but we know life happens, communication and catching up outside of rehearsal is key!

What sets TCT apart?

We are a brand new group that is passionate about creating something special from the ground up. Joining now means you get to help shape our culture, choose music that excites you, and grow with a community of singers who care about both musicianship and friendship. TCT is about collaboration, creativity, and having fun while making something beautiful together.
